I will be giving a presentation titled: Selected Reptiles and Amphibians of Addison County here in Salisbury at our local meeting house/congregational church this Wednesday at 7 PM.  The presentation has been arranged by the Salisbury Historical Society.  It is free and open to the public.  Please do spread the word to anyone or any list that you think would be appropriate.  I would love to see you there.

Wednesday, August 16, at 7 PM at the Salisbury Church/Meeting House in the center of town

1 hr. plus additional time for questions.

Jim will discuss the identification, natural history, and conservation of a selection of the reptiles and amphibians found here in Addison County.  (I will also call attention to data gaps within Addison County)

Jim is a herpetologist who coordinates the Vermont Reptile and Amphibian Atlas, a project based in Salisbury.  Jim has been a Research Scholar at Middlebury College, a lecturer at UVM, and he chairs the Reptile and Amphibian Scientific Advisory Group to the Vermont Endangered Species Committee.
